In Taffelmusik Jennifer Torrence, Berglind María Tómasdóttir, Nikolai Matthews and Mathias Halvorsen explore different approaches and aesthetics in classical music performance. The four musicians arrange and develop Telemann’s magnus opus for flutes, lokkur, percussion, double bass and prepared piano, while embracing Telemann's intrinsic spirit of sonic exploration, wild humour & folksy character.

The four musicians have all been intercontinentally active in performance and development of new music for many years. They all operate in a wild field, and predicting what they will be up to next is certainly not easy. They also do like each other, which also does not hurt.
