OSLO SOLO SERIES

In 2021 Jennifer Torrence will present solo works developed with Norwegian and Nordic composers across the last 10 years of living in Norway, including works by the following composers: Martin Hirsti-Kvam, Johan Jutterström, Idin Samimi Mofakham, Martyna Kosecka, Johan Svensson, Øyvind Torvund, Kristine Tjøgersen, Inga Margrete Aas, Jan Martin Smørdal, Martin Bauck, Simon Løffler, Jeppe Ernst, Bergrún Snæbjörnsdottír, and Lars Skoglund, as well as work by Raven Chacon, Alvin Singleton, Carolyn Chen, Marina Poleukhina, Torrence/Ane Marthe Sørlien Holen, and more to be announced.

WHAT NOISES REMAIN

A multi-media percussion solo inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest. Created by Peter Swendsen and myself in collaboration with Amy Miller,  Asha Tamirisa, Vera Rudi, Christiana Rose, Gunhild Mathea Olaussen.  Funded by Arts Council Norway and Norwegian Artistic Research Programme.

A show by Francois Sarhan.  A fascinating lecture on the history, mystery, beauty, truth, and transcendence of the iconic percussion instrument, the triangle (△). Funded by Arts Council Norway and Norwegian Artistic Research Programme. 2015-2016 performances in Sweden, Latvia, Norway, Iceland, Ireland. and Greece.

Institute for post-human performance practice (2. SONATA FOR SOLO PERCUSSION)
